Last week, QZ reported on the convergence of Meerkat and Periscope. After several weeks of steady PR and early adoption following SXSW, Meerkat had landed on the video livestreaming map. However, Periscope soon launched and took the lead in usage in early April. Here’s the takeaway chart from that post:

What’s happened since? Periscope has maintained a slight edge on Meerkat. Interestingly, both have flattened (I wouldn’t read too much into a drop on Easter Sunday):
